COLUMBIA, Mo. — The University of Missouri Extension will play host to the 3rd Annual Mid-Missouri Expo at Battle High School in Columbia on April 27.
According to the University of Missouri Extension, local experts and extension specialists will present on a myriad of topics, all aimed at helping small acreage farm owners and locals with backyards, maximize their land’s potential.
Topics featured at the expo will be beekeeping, growing fruit and hops, using drones in an operation, poultry and more
Each presentation will last approximately 45 minutes each and everyone from a beginning gardener to a seasoned farmer can attend the expo and learn something new.
The daylong event will also feature presentation by the Boone County Soil and Water Conservation District, Greenbelt Land Trust of Mid-Missouri and the Missouri Department of Natural Resources.
A representative from The Lawn Company will also be in attendance to provide attendees tips for organic lawn care.
Registration is required and those wishing to attend must register beginning at 8:30 a.m. on the day of the expo.
