MISSOURI — One of the biggest challenges that beef producers face is maintaining an AI program to ensure the continued success of their herd.

The right facilities can help establish a smoother and more successful breeding program.

Portable breeding barns are now available for rent through the University of Missouri Extension.

According to the MU Extension, depending upon where a producer is located, they may rent a single or double-stall barn if they have a larger herd.

The barns provide shelter from the weather and can attached to a lead alley easily. Producers and technicians are also protected from the elements, making work easier.
