HAMILTON, Mo. — Suspects involved in a reported burglary are in custody following a vehicle pursuit through multiple counties Wednesday morning.

Livingston County Sheriff’s Office says it was briefly involved in a pursuit, beginning in Ray County, north of Hardin. The vehicle, clocking speeds more than 100 mph, drove north on Route D through Ludlow where a Ray County deputy lost control of his cruiser on railroad tracks, according to Livingston County Sheriff Steve Cox. The pursuit continued on Highway 36 with Livingston County and the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The suspect vehicle was slowed by several spike strips before being apprehended in Caldwell County, north of Hamilton.
