A Sedalia woman charged with 2nd degree murder, endangering the welfare of a child and tampering with a motor vehicle in Saline County will be in circuit court Tuesday afternoon. The plea/trial setting is for Lydia Iliff, 33, who went missing in July of 2012 with her 18-month-old daughter. A few days later, Iliff surfaced but was disoriented and without her child. That infant was found a few hours later dead along the banks of the Backwater River from dehydration and heat exposure. Iliff will be in court at 1:15 p.m.
