A convicted murderer will now spend the rest of his life in prison. As stated in court records, Ronald James Blowers, 28, entered an open plea of guilty during March 27th proceedings. The courts then accepted his Alford Plea.
His conviction came just over two years after a burglary that led to the death of Mable and Wayne Wells. Blowers’ charges include two counts of 2nd degree murder, two counts of armed criminal action, and one count of 1st degree burglary.
During Tuesday’s sentencing hearing, Blowers was handed two life sentences plus 115 years.
