SCHUYLER COUNTY, Mo. – Five people were injured when their vehicle drifted into the path of a semi in Schuyler County Wednesday afternoon.
The crash report says the collision occurred around 5:30 p.m., on 63 Highway, about four miles North of Lancaster. A northbound Kia Sedona driven by Travis Ashby, 36, of Centerville, Iowa, traveled into the path of a southbound Kenworth driven by David Jacobsma, 48, of Chaska, Minnesota. Ashby, two kids and a woman from Cliffton, Texas, received minor injuries. Ashby’s wife, Ericka Ashby, 39, suffered moderate injuries.
All five were transported to Davis County Hospital in Bloomfield, Iowa, for treatment.
