TRENTON, Mo. — City leaders in Trenton will gather Monday evening for a regularly scheduled council meeting.

According to a tentative agenda, a number or ordinances will be considered by councilors.

The first will regard an contractual agreement between the city and the Green Hills Animal Shelter for the shelter to house any stray animals found within the city of Trenton. Another would amend a section of city code for the building and construction of sidewalks.

Officials will also adopt a budget for fiscal year 2019-2020.

Results of the April 2 municipal election will then be certified and officially declared. New members will then be administered the oath of office before appointments are made to committees and various boards.

Monday’s meeting of the Trenton City Council is slated to begin at 7:00 p.m. at Trenton City Hall.
