The University of Missouri held a press conference this morning to announce a Mizzou graduate would be their 23rd president.

Businessman Timothy Wolf has been selected from about 100 applicants when the search started almost a year ago.

Wolf is a Missouri native who worked at IBM for 20 years and then went into consulting.

He replaces Gary Forsee, who resigned in January to care for his wife as she battles cancer.

Interim president Steve Owens did not seek the job permanently.

Video of the press conference to announce Wolf can be found on the website of Columbia television station KOMU Channel 8 at
