Customers of Marshall Municipal Utilities will soon have a new option for paying their bills.  Click to hear KMZU’s Sarah Scott speak with Administrative Service Director Ken Gieringer:

Ken Gierginger

The Board decided to use a third party to allow customers to pay their bills online, at any time.  When the service is up and running a link will be posted on their website,

Those using the service will be charged a fee of $4.95.  Gieringer said the Board considered the option of having MMU absorb the cost, but that could have cost them $40,000 to $50,000.  The way the system will be set up, only those utilizing the service will pay a fee.

The online option is expected to be up and running in about 60 days.
