JASPER COUNTY — A missing Vancouver, Washington boy has been found safe in Jasper County, Missouri.
According to a news release from the FBI Seattle Division Breadson John, 8, was located Friday by FBI Kansas City and Jasper County deputies after the agencies received tips that John could be in Missouri.
John was placed in Missouri's Department of Social Services custody as Washington Child Protective Services travels to Kansas City to bring him home.
According to the news release, John has been missing since June 17, 2022. A wellness check was conducted at his residence at the time due to concerns voiced by members of the community. On Jan. 23, the FBI issued a missing person poster and determined John had been taken to Missouri sometime in August 2022.
