The following schools, businesses and/or organizations have decided to close Thursday, Dec. 22 and Friday, Dec. 23 due to inclement weather conditions.

All classes at the Carrollton Head Start will be canceled for Thursday, Dec. 22, due to blizzard like conditions.

All of Care Connection's senior centers in the area will be closed Friday for indoor dining and other in-person services due to forecasted sub-zero temperatures, strong winds, and possible snow and ice. Staff members are preparing to deliver extra meals to homebound clients.

The Ray County Courthouse will be closed Dec. 22 and 23 due to the predicted bad weather. 
 
The Sedalia Public Works Department has canceled trash pickup services for Friday, Dec. 23. Friday customers’ trash will be picked up on Monday, Dec. 26. Regular trash collections will resume on Tues., Dec. 27, 2022.
 
North Central Missouri College will have a Virtual Learning Day Thursday, December 22, 2022 due to forecasted inclement weather. Classes and services will be online but Ketcham Community Center will remain open.
 
United Methodist Church of Carrollton has canceled the Come-And-Go Communion, scheduled for 5:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22. 
 
The MU Carroll County Extension Office will be closed December 22 through January 2. The office will reopen January 3, 2023. 
 

Regional Missouri Bank branches: Keytesville, Glasgow, Brookfield, Paris, Hwy 24 Moberly and Downtown Marceline will close at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 22.
