JOHNSON COUNTY – Crews will be completing ditching work along northbound and southbound MO Route 23 between NE 900 Rd. and MO Route CC daily beginning at 7:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. starting on Monday, Feb. 27, through Friday, March 3. During this time, the road will be completely closed in the area and motorists will need to seek alternate routes. All work is weather permitting.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
