SWAN LAKE, Mo. — Summertime is practically here and nature lovers and couch potatoes lake are searching for ways to spend outdoors in the coming months.
KMZU’s Brian Lock was able to chat with Caitlin Lieberson, Bio Tech at the Swan Lake National Wildlife Refuge, about First Fridays – a summer program that takes place on the first Friday of each month this summer.

The refuge will host the first event of Summer in June with a portrayal of General John Pershing during the free event at Swan Lake the evening of June 1st from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Swan Lake hosts a plethora of activities, including nature walks, fishing and nature education.
