LIVINGSTON COUNTY, Mo. — November is National Diabetes Awareness month. The Centers for Disease Control says 23 million Americans live with diabetes and one in four people living with the disease don’t know they have it.
KMZU’s Brian Lock was able to chat with Anita Perry, a Registered Nurse and Certified Diabetes Educator with the Livingston County Health Center, who talks about who is most at risk and some upcoming health screenings for diabetics or those at risk for diabetes.
