COLUMBIA, Mo. — As schools are preparing for the return to school this fall with the end of the COVID-19 pandemic nowhere in sight, the Missouri State High School Activities Association is preparing for what could be an unusual sports season.
Spring sports were halted and were never able to be finished when Gov. Mike Parson officially closed all state schools April 9. Seniors were not able finish their final seasons and get a proper send off with graduations halted as well.
