BOONE COUNTY, Mo. — A man from Columbia is facing a slew of charges following a traffic stop early Monday morning in Boone County.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol indicates that Brice L. Kelley, 18, was detained at approximately 12:16 a.m. Monday in Boone County.
Kelley was reportedly pulled over for speed, failure to drive on the right half of the roadway, careless and imprudent driving as well as failure to display valid plates.
A probable cause search of the vehicle allegedly uncovered drugs. Kelley faces felony allegations of property damage, resisting arrest, possession of methamphetamine, and tampering with evidence.
Kelley was taken to the Boone County Jail where he was eligible to post bond on the allegations. Formal charges are currently pending.
