JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) – Missouri is getting money to help small farmers become more energy-efficient. The $5 million grant comes from the U.S. Department of Energy. Gov. Jay Nixon planned to discuss the program at a news conference Friday morning in Jefferson City. Several state officials and personnel from the University of Missouri Extension and a business are expected to attend.
