RAY COUNTY, MO – One of five fatal accidents in Missouri caused by inclement weather this week led to the death of a Norborne resident.
According to Highway Patrol, a crash Sunday morning resulted in injuries for Jessulyn Williams, 26, of Norborne. A vehicle she was driving lost control on a snow covered curve one-tenth of a mile west of Route N on 10 Highway in Ray County. The car hit an embankment and rolled into a field. Williams was ejected from the vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene. A 5-year-old passenger, Zaelyn Welch, survived the wreck with minor injuries.
Other weather related crashes included the death of a Mexico, Missouri man, Michael Marquette, 28.
