OAK GROVE, Mo. – The Oak Grove School District says they are disciplining a student over a social media post about the Florida school shooting.
In a message sent to parents before school Thursday, Principal Tracy Kemp said a parent notified the middle school office of the post on Snapchat. Kemp said although the message was inappropriate and alarming, it made no direct threat against the school district.
The student was brought in to speak to police and school administrators before classes started Thursday morning.
The district is not permitted to divulge details about student discipline.
