An Odessa man appeared in front of a Lafayette County judge Wednesday morning on a charge of possession of child pornography.  Paul Maun, 20, told investigators he used the images and internet videos for sexual arousal, according to the probable cause statement.  Maun was arrested on Nov. 17 after his IP address appeared on one of the detective’s computers.  The IP address, authorities said, allegedly contained a file with child pornography.  During the investigation, the Globally Unique Identifier (GUID) on Maun’s computer matched the GUID that was captured on the detective’s computer.  Maun’s bond was set at $15,000 and his case was continued to Jan. 10 at 9:00 a.m.
