LEXINGTON, Mo. — An Odessa man is facing charges in Lafayette County after an arrest in March.
Court documents accuse Randal W. Roy, 33, of nine felony charges. Police responded to a call regarding an armed carjacking in Odessa on March 1, where a victim was shot in the leg.
An hour later, police noticed the suspect car driving on Route O. A 40-minute pursuit was initiated after Roy sped away. Roy eventually crashed his vehicle into a ditch and was arrested.
Roy is facing nine felony counts, including assault in the first degree, two counts of armed criminal action, two counts of stealing, two counts of resisting arrest, robbery and unlawful use of a weapon.
No bond is set and Roy is held at the Lafayette County Jail.
