RANDOLPH COUNTY, MO – An information post by Randolph County Sheriff warns residents of a potential scam.
The complaints filed with the sheriff say citizens were told over the phone that suspicious activity surrounding their social security number may be taking place, which warranted the suspension of the number. The Sheriff’s Department is identifying the calls as scams. They recommend residents not provide any SS information or banking information to potential scammers.
