BOONE COUNTY, Mo. – Three Columbia residents were injured during a collision at an intersection in Boone County Saturday.

Emergency personnel responded to the crash on northbound Highway 63 at the intersection of Peabody Road just after 9:00 a.m. this morning. The Missouri Highway Patrol says Doris Mayuiers, 69, was westbound when she tried to cross 63 Highway and pulled into the path of Christina Dencker, 21,. Mayuiers was seriously injured while Dencker and her passenger, Johnathan Moore, 19, were moderately injured.

All three were transported to University Hospital for treatment.
