RAY COUNTY, Mo (update: 4:00 a.m. 9/30/19)—According to the Platte-Clay Electric Cooperative outage map, power has been restored to the residents effected by the outage in Ray County.

 

RAY COUNTY, Mo.—A Richmond woman receives serious injuries in a one vehicle crash that took out the power for a county Sunday night.

The power was out in Ray County following a one vehicle accident that took down a utility pole around 7 p.m. Sunday. According to the Platte-Clay Electric Cooperative outage map, power was still out in the area as of 1:30 a.m.

Monday morning. 52-year-old Mary E. Carmichael of Richmond was southbound near the intersection of Highway 10 and Mo-N when her vehicle ran off the road. She over-corrected causing her to strike a utility pole. Carmichael was seriously injured and taken to a hospital for treatment. Carmichael was not wearing a seat-belt.
