The Community of Orrick was struck by a tornado on May 10th, suffering severe damage to several homes and buildings including the school which had its roof ripped off. The town was devastated, but luckily no one was seriously injured and there were no fatalities. Two weeks later and the community has a big clean-up day planned for Tuesday according to Mayor Cindy Lampton.
Mayor Lampton says she is very grateful to all who have helped.
Mayor Lampton also expressed gratitude to the Governor’s office and the office of State Rep. Joe Don McGaugh, plus the Department of Natural Resources among others.
