RAY COUNTY, Mo. — A teen driver from Orrick was injured during a crash in Ray County Sunday evening.
According to a report from the Missouri Highway Patrol, troopers responded to Route O, north of Pendleton Road around 7:30 p.m. Sunday to reports of a crash involving a single vehicle.
A vehicle driven by Thomas L. Endsley, 17, was northbound when it ran off the side of the roadway, causing the vehicle to skid before returning to the road surface.
Endsley over corrected, causing the vehicle to travel off the opposite side of the road and strike a ditch. The vehicle became airborne before landing and rolling into a corn field.
Endsley, who was wearing a seat belt according to the report, sustained minor injuries in the accident.
He was taken by private vehicle to Liberty Hospital for treatment.
