TJ & Jamie Hughes, the parents of three of the four deceased children were reportedly asleep on the ground floor and were able to avoid bodily injury. 9 year old Matthew Poindexter was out of harm’s way visiting his biological father for the weekend and the Hughes’ youngest child, soon to be two year old, Marley Hughes, escaped the fire in her mother’s arms. The children killed by the fire include 7 year old Rossanna Flores, 6 year old Rolanda Saldana, 5 year old Mason Dollins and the Hughes’ nephew, 3 year old Saylem Martinson. The children’s funeral is almost completely paid for through donations, but this family lost all their belongings, a donation of any kind would be appreciated by the family.

The family is continuously appreciative of any donation or contribution as they are continuing to put the pieces of their lives back together. A gofundme account has been set up and donations are being made by family and friends. Follow this link to view the account.
