The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for help in locating a person of interest in an alleged burglary.

A report released Thursday said the Sheriff’s Office received a report on Jan. 16 of an incident that occurred in the 28000 block of South Dillingham Road, just south of Grain Valley.  The victim told deputies that his truck and other items were stolen from his property.  The vehicle was later recovered at a gas station in St. Joseph.

A white male with short brown hair is wanted for questioning (see images).  He has tattoos on the outside of both forearms and on the top of his right hand.  He was last seen wearing Carhartt overalls and a white short sleeved t-shirt.

Investigators are asking anyone with information to call the Investigations Division at (816) 524-4302 or the TIPS Hotline at (816) 474-TIPS.
