The Pettis County Sheriff’s Office recently completed an Aggressive and Hazardous Driving Enforcement Campaign between May 12th and 20th. During the 8-day campaign, deputies stopped 126 motorists for traffic violations including: 111 exceeding the speed limit; 8 other hazardous moving violations; 1 DWI arrest; and 6 seat belt enforcements. Funding for the project was provided by the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT).
Pettis County Deputies will continue to focus on these and other hazardous driving behaviors throughout the summer months to come, with overtime funding through MoDOT.
