A Whiteman Air Force Base resident was injured in a two-vehicle crash Sunday afternoon in Pettis Co. According to the highway patrol Kristopher Lloyd, 23, was northbound on Route U near Southwood Drive when he turned left and into the path of a vehicle driven by 43-year-old Charles Bellamy of Sedalia. Bellamy was unable to stop in time and struck the motorcycle ejecting Lloyd. Bellamy was unhurt but Lloyd was taken by helicopter to University Hospital in serious condition.
