Pettis County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Sedalia resident Monday following a search of a home in the 4100 block of Blue Grass Drive. Jeremy Futscher, 31, was taken into custody as a result of an extensive investigation. According to the sheriff’s office, a search of the residence revealed a large amount of property believed to have been reported stolen in Benton County. Futscher is currently being held in the Pettis County jail on a $300,000 bond. He’s facing charges of possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a firearm. Additional arrests and charges are pending in both Pettis and Benton Counties.
