PETTIS COUNTY, Mo.- The Pettis County Fire Department responded to reports of a structure fire early this morning with a fully involved residence.

According to the report, at approximately 2:26 a.m., firefighters were called out for a structure fire in the 2900 block of West Lake Drive. Upon arrival, a residence was seen to be fully engulfed in flames with a collapsed roof.

The blaze is currently under investigation with the assistance of the Missouri State Fire Marshal’s Office.

The Pettis County Fire Department had over a dozen firefighters battling the fire and no injuries were reported. The scene was cleared at around 5:30 a.m.
