A Pettis County man has been taken into custody in connection with a string of burglaries in Saline County. According to the report, Corporal Darren Lilliman of the Highway Patrol was following Houstonia resident, Bob Donnell, 33, a suspect in the case. Lilliman requested assistance from the Saline County Sheriff’s Office in stopping Donnell. Deputy Todd Anderson pulled Donnell over on Route K within the Houstonia city limits. The Houstonia resident was detained as a combined law enforcement team went to his apartment and found various items reported stolen over the last 10 days. Donnell is being held in the Pettis County Jail at this time.
