JOHNSON COUNTY, Mo. — Two drivers were hospitalized after a four vehicle accident in Johnson County Wednesday morning.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, four vehicles were northbound on Business 13 at County Road 135 at 7:30 this morning. The first vehicle driven by Lacey Jenkins, 28, of Warrensburg slowed down for traffic. In turn, a second vehicle driven by Linda Gaskill, 55, of Leeton, slowed down behind Jenkins.
The driver of a third vehicle, Brian Findley, 30, of Clinton, braked abruptly which resulted in a fourth vehicle driven by Ariel Frazier, 22, of Lees Summit to strike the rear of Findley’s vehicle. Each of the vehicles struck the rear of the vehicle in front of them in turn.
Findley reported minor injuries and was transported by private vehicle to the VA Clinic in Warresnburg. Gaskill reported moderate injuries and was transported to the Western Missouri Medical Center by Johnson County EMS.
The Johnson County Sheriff’s Department assisted the Missouri State Highway Patrol in the investigation.
