The families of the two people killed in Tuesday’s plane crash have confirmed their identities.  According to reports, Ronald Strahm, 68, and his passenger, J.C. Waters, 70, both of Independence, died when their plane went down near the junction of Highway 36 and 33 in rural Clinton County.  The Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board are conducting an investigation into the cause of the crash.  Neither agency has officially confirmed the victims’ identities.  Authorities said they are awaiting autopsy and DNA results before they will release the names.
