A KMZU listener said a crop dusting plane crashed in Randolph County.

According to the caller, the small aircraft went down around 11:30 a.m. in a corn field near Darksville.

One tipster stated that the accident occurred at County Road C and 1170, about eight miles north of Huntsville.

A witness said the plane appeared to have clipped the top of a tree.

The pilot is believed to have been killed in the crash.

An official with the Moberly Joint Communications office told KMZU News that they are not releasing any information at this time.
