sstranger-danger-1 (1)TRENTON, Mo. — Trenton Police are reminding area residents of the dangers associated with talking to strangers after an incident involving a Trenton student.

According to the Police Department, the student was picked up by a stranger near a bus stop. The student was later released and allowed to return to school, however police are seeking the man for questioning.

The suspect is described as a white male in his late-twenties to early-thirties, with facial hair and a lip piercing. He was last seen driving a blue colored sport utility vehicle and wearing a black hoodie, orange shorts, and brightly colored Nike shoes.

Trenton Police are urging parents to remind parents about ‘Stranger Danger.’ Police say you should never talk to strangers, be aware of your surroundings, never enter a vehicle with a stranger, run away if you feel unsafe, tell someone if you’ve been contacted by a stranger and always use the buddy system.
