(UPDATE: 01/04/17 1:23 p.m)- Brian Adkinson, 26, a known convict in the state of Missouri, will be appearing in court next week on kidnapping and domestic assault charges. 

A pre-trial conference has been scheduled for Tuesday, January 10, 2017, at 1:30 p.m. in the Livingston County Courthouse. 

Adkinson was charged in August of 2012 with felony tampering with a motor vehicle in the first degree and now faces charges of kidnapping, and 2nd degree domestic assault in Caldwell County.

The charge stemmed from a multi-county, multi-state crime spree. Adkison was sentenced to 15 years in prison after being convicted of Forcible Rape in October.

 

 

CALDWELL AND LIVINGSTON COUNTY, Mo – A convicted rapist is now facing new charges in Caldwell County, with his trial rescheduled for early 2017.

Brian J. Adkison, 26, was charged in August of 2012 with felony tampering with a motor vehicle in the first degree and now faces charges of kidnapping, and 2nd degree domestic assault in Caldwell County.

The charge stemmed from a multi-county, multi-state crime spree. Adkison was sentenced to 15 years in prison after being convicted of Forcible Rape in October.

After being present in court in Caldwell County July 1, 2016, Atkison motioned to vacate his trial setting in August. The Court agreed, and scheduled a pre-trial conference for Atkison February 6, 2017 in Caldwell County and his jury trial rescheduled to March 20, 2017 in Livingston County. Adkison does remain in jail at the Caldwell County Jail for his previous convictions.
