The preliminary hearing for a Holt resident accused of killing her stepson has been scheduled. Melissa Webb, 32, appeared in a Clinton County courtroom Wednesday afternoon. She is scheduled next for April 12th at 9:00. Both Webb and her husband,
Justin Webb, 34, have been charged with murder and felony child abuse. Four-year-old Lucas Webb was rushed to a hospital in October, where he died. His injuries were later determined to be caused by “blunt force trauma.”
