A Carrollton man charged in late February with two counts of murder will have a preliminary hearing Tuesday morning.  Theopolis Johnson II, 43, was arrested in October after Kayla Cowan, 12, and her mother, Kristen Howery, 35, were found dead near and at a home in rural Carroll County.  At the time of the her death, Kayla was more than 22 weeks pregnant.  Paternity test results revealed Johnson was likely to have fathered her unborn child.  Johnson has also been charged with two counts of statutory rape.  He is being held on more than one-million dollars.  He is scheduled to appear at 10:00 a.m. in a Carroll County courtroom.
