Former President Bill Clinton will be the speaker at the University of Central Missouri’s graduate school commencement ceremony next month in Warrensburg.  University spokesperson Jeff Murphy says as part of the ceremony, the former President will be presented an honorary degree from the school.

Murphy says Mr. Clinton was asked because of his service to the nation, as well as for his numberous charitable works since leaving office.

The ceremony is Friday night, May 6th at the multipurpose building on campus.  Murphy says specific details are still be worked out, but the event will be open to the public.  Priority will be given to graduating students and their families.
