CLARK, Mo. — Primrose Hill Adult and Teen Challenge is a Missouri organization that offers residential care to women and women with children with alcohol or drug recovery problems. Director Heather Owen tells more.
There are over 200 locations of Adult and Teen Challenge centers. Primrose Hill can be found in Randolph County, in a quaint town named Clark. With a population of around 300 residents, Clark seems a small-scale location to be capable of lending such big-time help to those in need. Owen shares a bit of Primrose Hill’s history.
History aside, the benefits of attending the programs at Primrose Hill Adult and Teen Challenge can be found in the success of those who have completed them.
Because Primrose Hill is not-for-profit organization, it relies on community support through donations and fundraising events to continue to provide support to women through its programs. Owen talks about the upcoming Worth Saving Barbecue and Auction event.
Owen says women are accepted into their program whether they have the ability to pay or not, so all proceeds go directly back into funding the program. The director gives more event details.
