Governor Nixon has fifteen days to decide whether to veto the controversial measure, sign it or allow it to go into effect without his signature. Nixon released a statement Monday saying he backs the agreement proposing an alternative measure. Governor Nixon must sign or veto SB113 by early May. The compromise measure would have to be fast-tracked through both houses before the legislative session concludes May 13. The rally starts Wednesday at 5:00 p.m.
