CHILLICOTHE, Mo. – A public hearing will be part of the agenda during the Chillicothe City Council meeting Monday, August 8, 2016. It will focus on an ordinance setting the 2016 Tax Rates.
That hearing will be preceded by a discussion on accepting bids for railroad ties in relation to the Sonoco rail spur expansion.
Council will also hear from a member of Main Street Chillicothe in relation to parking and Mayor Haney will discuss the appointment of recommendations to the Planning and Zoning Board.
City Administrator Ike Holland will hold a discussion and a possible ordinance vote regarding a service contract with the Cultural Corner & Art Guild followed up by a discussion and possible ordinance vote establishing housing occupation code inspections and fees for inspections.
That will be followed by City Clerk Roze Frampton leading a discussion and possible resolution on a conflict of interest policy.
Council will gather in chambers at City Hall, 715 Washington St., at 6:30 p.m.
