CHILLICOTHE, Mo. — A council workshop and public hearing will be held in conjunction with Monday night’s meeting of the Chillicothe City Council.
According to an agenda, a public hearing will be held at 5:30 p.m. Monday for the consideration of the distribution of tax revenues to pay just over $244,000 to purchase new emergency radio equipment for the Chillicothe Police and Fire departments.
Immediately following the hearing, council members will review the 2017-2018 audit during the scheduled workshop.
The regular meeting will see a report from the finance chairman and appearances regarding a water tower attachment agreement with Verizon Wireless as well as the consideration of a bid for diesel generator control upgrades.
Comments will then be heard from the public, city administrator, mayor and councilors before the meeting adjourns to an executive session.
The Chillicothe City Council is scheduled to meet Monday at 6:30 p.m. with the hearing and workshop preceding, from 5:30 p.m.
