BRUNSWICK, Mo. — The Brunswick Norfolk southern railroad bridge west of Brunswick has collapsed due to flooding in the area.

According to Brunswick City Councilman Brent Dickerson, the bridge gave way just before dark Tuesday evening. Norfolk & Southern employees cut the ties on the bridge to minimized the damage when the bridge gave way.  Grand River access is closed along with the local marina until further notice for cleanup and repair.
