RANDOLPH COUNTY, Mo. – A morning crash in Randolph killed one and injured two others.


At 7:40 a.m. on Friday, April 1, 2016, Karen S. Fuemmeler, 58, was driving westbound on US-24, four miles west of Huntsville when she turned into the path of and was struck by Kristen M. Butterfield, 33, and her passenger, Wilma Kruse, 82, who were heading eastbound.

Fuemmeler received minor injuries and sought her own treatment. Butterfield was moderately injured and transferred to University Hospital in Columbia, Mo., with Kruse. Kruse was pronounced dead at the hospital.
