A Raytown driver was seriously injured in a one vehicle accident in Clay County Friday afternoon. According to the Highway Patrol, Connie Wolfgeher, 59, was Southbound on Interstate 35, just before 1:00 p.m., when she ran off the left side of the road and struck a guardrail. The vehicle then crossed the interstate, traveled off the right side, went down an embankment and struck a concrete drainage ditch. Wolfgeher was transported to Liberty Hospital for treatment.
