CLINTON COUNTY, Mo. — A crash on Interstate 35 in Clinton County injured a driver from Lathrop Thursday morning.
A crash report from the Missouri Highway Patrol indicates the crash occurred on I-35 near the 37 mile marker, approximately 3 miles south of Lathrop at 6:28 a.m. Thursday.
A car driven by Douglas C. Humphries, 31, of Lathrop, was traveling behind a southbound semi operated by 38-year-old Henderson, Nevada resident Mohamed el-Hajji, when Humphries struck the tractor-trailer in its rear.
Humphries’ vehicle then ran off the right side of the roadway and struck the guardrail before crossing back over the south bound lanes and coming to rest in the median.
Humphries received minor injuries in the rear-end accident. He was treated at Liberty Hospital.
