Letter from Relay For Life:

Hey Relay participants!  It is time to kick another great year of celebrating, remembering and fighting back, into motion!  The first event of this year’s American Cancer Society Relay For Life 2011will be the Kick Off Rally!  The party will be held Monday, February 28, 2011, at 6:30pm in the Richmond School District Middle School Commons.  The Richmond Middle School is basically located on the southeast corner of the intersection of South St and Wellington St in Richmond, Missouri.  From Missouri State Highway 13 turn East onto South Street (in front of McDonalds) and proceed to Wellington Street.  The school parking entrance is located off of Wellington Street and the school sets back just a little ways from an open athletic field at the immediate southeast corner of South and Wellington Streets.  Big Brown looking building – can’t miss it!

This year’s event features all kinds of craziness!  The event chair Glenda Reynolds along with Relay Night emcees Rob Kinnard and Rick Wrisinger will be on hand to keep everyone smiling, laughing and highly entertained.  Relay event support teams such as team captain coordinators, lumineria coordinators, campsite presentations, music, fundraising, along with a host of other support and brainstorming support teams will be available to share in the fun.  A special Heroe of Hope presentation will wrap things up and motivate each us to carry on strong the Relay for Life Effort of Ray County for 2011.  Team registration fees will be waived for teams registered on or before the kickoff rally.

For those who have participated in any way in past Ray County Relay For Life events we extend a sincere thank you.  We encourage your continued support!  This event could not happen without you!  If you are wondering about opportunities for how you or your group might join in support or sponsorship during the kick-off event, survivor events, bank night events, team captain meetings, Relay Event Night or many other activities you are invited and we want to include you!  Please contact one of the coordinators below.  If you or a group of people would like a presentation concerning the event and participation opportunities just e-mail or give us a call.  We will be glad and you can expect us to come to you.  Whatever it takes so that you or your group may be included in the fun, laughter and enjoyment of Ray County Relay For Life 2011 we are prepared to help you.

The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Ray County 2011 event will be Friday, June 3, 2011, at the Richmond High School Spartan Stadium.

Great times and fellowship are right around the corner!  Be a part of it!  Come join us!  See you there!
